Fiona moved to the Royal Brompton Hospital for more specialist cardio-thoracic nurse training following which she became one of the ‘Sisters’ on the children’s cardiac ward.

Fiona subsequently returned to University College Hospital London joining the ACHD team as a nurse specialist. Fiona has been inspired by the many people she has met over the years during her career in congenital heart nursing.
