Trainers with heart shape made from laces

Melissa Mullan has decided to take on the challenge of The Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday 9th October 2016 to raise much needed funds for The Somerville Foundation, to help us to continue to support young people and adults born with a heart condition.

“I hadn’t run in more than and year and told myself to get back into it slowly. In order to keep challenging myself (and not get bored, plus this running thing is kind of addictive) I’ve signed up for the Royal Parks Half Marathon. I may have bitten off more than I can chew… I have 78 days to train… will I be able to pull it off? Let’s find out! Your support would definitely help!

I am running on behalf of the Somerville Foundation because I wanted to support a smaller organization that may not get the attention it deserves.”

Thank you Melissa
